This course focuses on the structural organisation of cells and the molecular basis of cellular processes.  It also covers the structure and function of biological macromolecules and cellular components. Fundamental  biochemical and cellular processes will also be introduced as well the flow of genetic information.

The goal of this course is to have the student develop and demonstrate a deeper understanding of the classical pillars of philosophy. Furthermore the student will begin to develop their understanding of their responsibilities as a safe health care professional.

To provide study and research skills required to support and develop the students learning and to impart coherent written content. The student will learn how to perform online library searches, to evaluate scientific literature and to conduct literature reviews at a tertiary level. They will learn time management and knowledge management skills required for a professional degree
